The building has a rich history spanning over 750 years, having previously served as a monastery, an orphanage, and a trade union building. It was later squatted and, since the 1980s, became the renowned music venue Tivoli, where artists such as Prince, Pearl Jam, Pixies, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, and Arctic Monkeys performed.
